In a nutshell

Customer’s challenge:
Jordan is one of Germany’s leading specialist wholesalers of floor coverings, wood-based materials and doors. Until now, documentation for deliveries to craft businesses and construction sites was often paper-based or used poorly coordinated isolated applications, which led to media discontinuity, a lack of transparency and, in many cases, wasted time when dealing with complaints.

Our solution:
We developed a mobile app for Jordan that provides drivers with a digital delivery note. All stops, delivery addresses and locations are clearly displayed, interactive and can be accessed in real time. End customers can check and confirm each delivery, comment on any discrepancies, provide photographic evidence and sign digitally directly in the app.

  • Consulting & Conceptual Design:

    Joint workshops to analyse existing processes, define objectives and develop the optimal app workflow (with the involvement of dispatchers and drivers)

  • UX/UI Design:

    Creation of intuitive wireframes and interactive prototypes, coordinated directly with drivers and customer service representatives

  • Development:

    Iterative implementation as a mobile web app and tablet-optimised interfaces for greater clarity and ease of use – including connection to Jordan systems

    Gradual rollouts, accompanied by live feedback from drivers and optimisation based on practical experience

Our software solution

With the Jordan delivery app, drivers can see all of today’s planned stops on their route—including the address, customer, and a complete overview of the items to be delivered. On site, the driver opens the relevant delivery document, checks the individual items with the customer, and can immediately mark any discrepancies (e.g., missing goods), add photo documentation, and have it digitally signed. Each handover is digitally documented in the system and is available in real time for administration, complaints, or accounting purposes.

Key features

Through consulting and process workshops, digital delivery logistics were optimized from the ground up. A user-friendly UX/UI design with interactive prototyping provided feedback close to the source before the app was implemented in agile development with interface connection to Jordan. QA and user acceptance tests ensured quality, while documentation, support, and rollout assistance ensured successful deployment.

Today, over 80 drivers use the tablet app every day for secure, traceable delivery handover. More than 1,000 deliveries per week are processed digitally without errors. The result: over 90% fewer paper receipts and no more lost delivery notes. Positive driver feedback confirms: “Finally, a system that helps in everyday life—complaints can be resolved directly and everything is documented immediately.”
